Woah O.O! So many +1's, comments, and followers... Thanks Again!!

Hey guys and gals! ( I think I will stick with that intro for now)

So, I have some very awesome news I want to talk about! However, some of it is old and some of it is new. I will start will the old and build up with the new.

The old news that is pretty awesome is the fact that I have now 7 followers! (Of course I am following them all back too). Their names are (Not including my sister and boyfriend): +The Vault - Fallout Wiki , +Thinkerbeat , +Billy Franks  , +Anthony Palmer , +Julie Quesnel

Another great thing that has happened not to far in the present was the increasing number of comments. (Like 2-5). It is so awesome having those people actually say something and seeing what they say. I am not saying my viewers aren't amazing, I'm just saying that hearing from you guys is awesome.

The third great thing to happen was the title of this blog. I got 9 +1's on my blog from yesterday about dinner with the family and my early Christmas present. That is most I've ever gotten and it has the most comments on it.

Guys, that is so freaking awesome I literally don't know what to say. I know you see or read the thank you's all the time and it can get annoying, but getting this type feedback and knowing that feeling, I can finally see why people do it. So:

And, finally, for the: QUESTION OF THE DAY!
Do any of you guys out there get excited when people follow you, view your blog, or comment on your post? Please share your experiences with me in the comments below or post a link to a video or blog if you have thanked these people in the past before.

Thanks guys and stay warm! Only 3 more days until Christmas!

Not Mateo's Day

So, today had to be the saddest and most horrible day for my friend, Mateo. Not only did everyone, including myself, deny him help, but we laughed at his misery. It all began in our Journalism class.

When Mateo and my other group member, Andre, came to class, we began to get ready for our presentation. After hearing we would be second to last to present, we sort of relaxed and watched the other group talk about their sports. That was when Mateo told us his tale of woe.

The tale of a teenage boy that had his cellphone taken up and he couldn't get on instagram to follow and look at pictures....

Not only was he denied by everyone of a phone to use, but he complained about it the ENTIRE time. At first, it was simple begging and sighing, but it eventually led up to getting mad and pouting. I, like Andre, just simply cracked the F**K up.

So, for the: QUESTION OF THE DAY!
Have you experienced his sadness or had been annoyed by someone else's sadness in this matter? Please, post your answers in the comments below or post a link to a blog or video if you had answered this already.

Thanks guys!... Expect for Mateo....

Never Will I Judge a Book By It's Cover Again...

Sorry guys I haven't being blogging recently, work and school has exhausted me to the point of collapsing. However, these last few days have taught me a valuable lesson about people that I never understood, yet I knew about it.

At work on Friday, me and co-worker, Tim, noticed that one of the other waiters was acting very weird. So weird that some of us were worried about him.

His attitude wasn't a normal happy in the beginning of the shift to pissed off and tired. It was, like, spunky, almost child-like.

So, confused and curious, I kept my eye on him until I saw his necklace with a heart (Like the one above) charm. When I pointed it out, he froze and tucked it under his shirt saying I saw nothing and don't worry about it, blah blah blah.

Even more curious about this charm and how it related to his different attitude, I waited until no one was around to ask what it was for.

The news for his charm and playful attitude not only surprised me, but made me realized that I may not know as much about someone as I thought that I did.

The heart had come from his lover ( I don't know if it was a girlfriend or wife) that was dying of cancer. Her wishes were, that if she did not live, that he wear it for her to remember her. Of course he complied, but the reason he acted weird and didn't say anything was because he was embarrassed it was a woman's necklace.

After his story, I felt sad and happy for him. ( Mostly sad ). I was happy that he was wearing the necklace and was able to be with her and be able to work. Of course, I pitied him because to work and function, in a restaurant while seeing other couples, had to be hard on him.

Almost, in a way, I felt encouraged by his attitude to keep going on.

So, for the: QUESTION OF THE DAY!

Have you ever been in a situation where you thought you knew everything about a person, but were wrong? Please, post your experiences in the comments below, or post a link to a video or blog about it if you have discussed it before.

Thanks guys and hope you have a wonderful weekend and great day!

First time for everything

This is about the closest I can describe how I feel about blogging. Not only is this my first time, but I hope this is not my last.

My name is Madison Hughey, 17 years old, and already I am an author with a book published. So, how come no one knows about me? That is simple: I never reached out to other writers like me.

I hope that anyone that reads this and follows me, as I will follow you, doesn't end up like me: slamming your head in your keyboard.

Anyone want to join me in their newbieness or want to simply help me to understand what I am doing, please send me a message. I swear I will listen, or read, any tip you have got. (Even ones sent to me dozens a times!).

Thanks guys :)

(This is the book I published, and no I didn't put this here for you to buy it, I just wanted to make a point)
