Not Mateo's Day

So, today had to be the saddest and most horrible day for my friend, Mateo. Not only did everyone, including myself, deny him help, but we laughed at his misery. It all began in our Journalism class.

When Mateo and my other group member, Andre, came to class, we began to get ready for our presentation. After hearing we would be second to last to present, we sort of relaxed and watched the other group talk about their sports. That was when Mateo told us his tale of woe.

The tale of a teenage boy that had his cellphone taken up and he couldn't get on instagram to follow and look at pictures....

Not only was he denied by everyone of a phone to use, but he complained about it the ENTIRE time. At first, it was simple begging and sighing, but it eventually led up to getting mad and pouting. I, like Andre, just simply cracked the F**K up.

So, for the: QUESTION OF THE DAY!
Have you experienced his sadness or had been annoyed by someone else's sadness in this matter? Please, post your answers in the comments below or post a link to a blog or video if you had answered this already.

Thanks guys!... Expect for Mateo....

Never Will I Judge a Book By It's Cover Again...

Sorry guys I haven't being blogging recently, work and school has exhausted me to the point of collapsing. However, these last few days have taught me a valuable lesson about people that I never understood, yet I knew about it.

At work on Friday, me and co-worker, Tim, noticed that one of the other waiters was acting very weird. So weird that some of us were worried about him.

His attitude wasn't a normal happy in the beginning of the shift to pissed off and tired. It was, like, spunky, almost child-like.

So, confused and curious, I kept my eye on him until I saw his necklace with a heart (Like the one above) charm. When I pointed it out, he froze and tucked it under his shirt saying I saw nothing and don't worry about it, blah blah blah.

Even more curious about this charm and how it related to his different attitude, I waited until no one was around to ask what it was for.

The news for his charm and playful attitude not only surprised me, but made me realized that I may not know as much about someone as I thought that I did.

The heart had come from his lover ( I don't know if it was a girlfriend or wife) that was dying of cancer. Her wishes were, that if she did not live, that he wear it for her to remember her. Of course he complied, but the reason he acted weird and didn't say anything was because he was embarrassed it was a woman's necklace.

After his story, I felt sad and happy for him. ( Mostly sad ). I was happy that he was wearing the necklace and was able to be with her and be able to work. Of course, I pitied him because to work and function, in a restaurant while seeing other couples, had to be hard on him.

Almost, in a way, I felt encouraged by his attitude to keep going on.

So, for the: QUESTION OF THE DAY!

Have you ever been in a situation where you thought you knew everything about a person, but were wrong? Please, post your experiences in the comments below, or post a link to a video or blog about it if you have discussed it before.

Thanks guys and hope you have a wonderful weekend and great day!

Teachers and Assistant Principals Can Be Awesome!

Oooo guys, we gettin' double pictures!

I have had the greatest day ever! And, no, I didn't make a A in AP Calculus AB. :(

So, here is how is all happened:

I came in to school and was talking to my teachers, like I normally do, until I heard the bell ring for 7 minutes until class would start. Now, normally I check if I am ready to go to class before this time. However, as I was getting ready to sit down, I noticed I had forgot my ID.

Forgetting your ID in my school not only is a hassle, but it embarrassing, especially for a senior.

So, as I was running out of my class towards my car, I heard the bell ring for the last 2 minute warning. Not only did I know I would not make it, but I knew that if I didn't have it, I would have been kicked out of class, giving me a tardy and a call home.

So, I ran to an AP, Assistant Principal, and asked him if he would vouch for me. (The conversation was more like: "Hey, Mr.Davis, how much do you love me?" "I don't know. I don't think it is enough for whatever you want me to do." "How about you just vouch for me about a tardy so I can get my ID from my car." "....." "Please?" "You better hurry."

So, when I got back to him, he wrote me a pass and I got to class with no tardy! THANK YOU MR. DAVIS!!!!

So, all in all, guys and gals out there who think kiss butting your teacher or AP is dumb, you might just want to think again.

So, time for the: QUESTION OF THE DAY!

How many of you guys or girls have a situation where a teacher or AP stuck their neck out for you? Please post your answers in the comments below or post a link if you have discussed this already in a previous blog or video.

Thanks guys and girls! :* kisses to you all!

Having Friends in Many Varieties is Amazing

So, today I had a day that made me realize what fun it is to have a mix variety of friends is like. And I am not talking like: "Oh, I hang out with preps then jocks". I am talking like: "Oh, I joke with really ghetto people and then hang out with preps, following up with a conversation with some nerds."

Having that ability can not only be rare, but it can make life much more. I enjoyed my day today because I got to talk to some of the most different people and stay happy.

My first period today, Journalism I, I have the most young, ghetto kids. I'm talking like freshmen ghetto kids. Not only are they very annoying, but they can be the funniest people to listen to. (It you can stomach their foul language and silly fight-like conversations or threats).

In my second period class, Economics, I only really have one friends, Anna. She is one of my closest friends that not only can make me laugh until I am crying and dying, but she can be honest with me. Like, for example, when my teacher asked what is a monopoly was and the first answer she blurted out was Fudge. Silly Anna.

And, finally, in my third period class, Art II, I get to see my funny younger, more normal friends. Elizabeth, Stephanie, Bowl-Boy, Donny and sometimes Michael. They are the funniest people I ever talk to and not only are they craziest in their ideas, but they are very helpful in the creative flow for a project.

So for the: QUESTION OF THE DAY!

Do you have a mix variety of friends or do you prefer one type? Post your answers in the comments below or post a link if you have discussed your answers before.

Thanks guys for the support and the views!

Good Day Gone BAD!.... AGAIN! (Day 2)

So I had a really good day today in ALL  of my classes! :D

In my first class, English IV, we only had 3 assignments: Word Power Vocab, A test of the Medieval Times Period and we read some of the story The Canterbury Tales.

My second, Anatomy and Physiology, we had to finish some notes and take a Quiz over 40 different bones. Of course, I never study for them because I know most of them already ( Thank you Medical Terminology ) and this annoyed my teacher.

And my final third class, AP Calculus AB, we had notes and a quiz. This class however, was the class that my day got bad in. It wasn't from the quiz or the notes however...

I saw my ACT Scores....

My God, do I feel so stupid.  Not only made a 22, but I had the website tell me I am not ready for most of my classes in college.

What made this worse was the fact I made a 1550 on my SAT and I suck at math. ( If you don't understand what I mean by that, the SAT has more Math than any other other subject ). I guess I should have studied harder,,, or studied at all..

Anyways, it is time for the bam ba ba buuuuuummmmmmmm:

QUESTION OF THE DAY!

Have you ever had a great day until you saw a test score that was important for any plans you had in the future? Please post your answer in the comments below or post a link if you have discussed it already!

Thanks everyone!

I HATE the cold... D:< Why?

BECAUSE OF CRAP LIKE THIS THAT PEOPLE KEEP TALKING ABOUT!

Why should I worry about looking sexy and almost naked in the fucking winter time? Why should I look nice for someone I don't know in the winter?

The answer I hear: Because winter is like any other season and you should dress up for it.

Listen b***h, just because some super models like to strip in front of the camera, at any time or temperature, does not mean that I like to.

This is how you should look in the winter:

So my advice to anyone out there in the cold or out there just being cold: Wear what you think will keep you warm and don't try to look nice while doing it. (Unless you want to)

So for the QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you think it is better to look nice, regardless of the weather, or should you dress in what makes you more comfortable? Post your answers in the comments below or post a link to your blog if you have talked about this already!

Thanks guys! Also I just wanted to say: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT AND 1+'S!
( I still don't know what they are for). It is so amazing to see the views I get and the tips or help I get. The last thing I would ask is for an answer for my questions of the day. I know it seems like everyone does them, but it is the only way to get a response from my lovely viewers.

I, however, understand if you don't want to, it would just be cool to be able to talk to you one-on-one.

Anyways, I applaud anyone who reads these daily! Thanks again guys and stay warm out there!

So Tired...

Ever have a company meeting, at 9 in the morning, about something everyone already knew about? Yeah, today is going to be one of those days... ON A SATURDAY!

So, that is why I didn't blog yesterday. I was up from 5 in the morning until midnight and I needed sleep. I didn't have time and I do apologize for that. :'(

The good news is, is I heard are meeting will be serving breakfast. So, maybe it will be better?

So news about my second book:

1. It is almost done being typed up and going to my editor soon to be fixed and ready for the audience

2. It will be free!

3. I am not sure, but I might make the whole series free as well (The more positive responses = the more likely it will be free for the public.)

So for the question of the day: What sucks more: Morning meetings or typing up a 60 page book? Post in the comment below and give me a reason why. As you know, if you read my other blogs, any blog you posted answering this question can be posted as link in the comments!

Thanks guys out there, and a special thanks to Anthony Palmer and Christine Richardson for giving me some professional tips! Any other help, especially mental, will be used and I will give you a shout out as well.

Baby Fever For High Schoolers?!

Ever have that day where all you hear are people shouting about babies. "I wanna a baby!" or "OMGZ GET ME PREGNANT!!!". -.-''

Guys, or better yet, girls in high school that think they have baby fever.... STOP! JUST PLEASE STOP OKAY?! You can not possibly be ready for a child nor should you try to be getting ready for a baby.

Baby fever in high school is not only stupid, but it is dangerous for your health. (Mentally anyways). The only benefit out of having a baby at the ages of 14-18 is the fact that everyone will get to watch you get fat and then lose weight. (If you try anyways).

The disadvantages are: you become a bitch, because not only are you a hormone raging teen, but you are a fat, baby-welding hormone raging mother/teen. It shows how NOT responsible you are because you couldn't bother using birth control.

You ever have that problem or think I am being too whiny, please it in the comments below or shoot me a link to a blog you may have wrote addressing your answer

Thanks Peeps!!!

Feeling Sick, Eh?

Sorry I had not blogged yesterday, I have been getting really sick recently. I, basically, feel like I am running a fever all the time or my nose feels like it is bleeding.

Besides the sickness, school has been getting harder for me. Not like the people or the assignments, but just paying attention. I have been feeling very tired and out of focus more than normal, sometimes I just don't even care anymore. Maybe I should stay home or something?

Besides my complaining, I have been trying to do a little dance or make a little love to get down tonight. (Not really it is just a song). I really though have been dancing a lot more recently. I guess it is the need to cheer myself up or exercise, but I dunno. I am almost done typing my second book call "Project: Green Life" which will probably be free this time so anyone out there can read my material and see if they like it.

Ever feel sick of school or just so sick in general it strongly affects your mood? Post it in the comments below or post a link there if you have blogged about it.

Thanks guys :D!

Teamwork is the WORST form of work

You ever have that class where your teacher assigns you with a group of the laziest people ever? Because, I today, had this awesome moment in my journalism class. Oh, and only one of the members, he-who-shall-not-be-named, was being lazy. Of course, his part was the most important in our group, which HE CHOSE, and yet he refused to do it.

Even after I chose to do HALF of his work, he still managed to half-ass his half. You feel me bro?

Anyways...

I had a pretty swell day, despite that little problem. During my 2nd period, Economics, we had a ITT Tech speaker come in to discuss his college. However, it was more of a discussion involving the innovation of technology vs his actual school. Eh, I didn't really care much for it.

3rd period we had a sub for my Art 2 class. In there we were suppose to draw someone else's face, and 2 sketches of our hands holding something. I, of course, drew a stupid picture of my friend as a clown and my hands grasping boobies. XD. You really feel me bro?

So, my question to you: You ever have a group assignment like that or worse? Please post it in the comments below and tell me what happened, or put a link up of a post if you discussed that moment before.

Thanks errabodeee....

Sorry For Delay

Sorry guys it took me so long to blog. My work has tired me out so much over this weekend that I literally came home, stripped off my uniform and fell face first into bed.

To catch anyone up to speed over my last few days:

Get up
Brush my hair and teeth
Shower
Eat
Get dressed
Go to work
Go home
Get undressed
And finally, sleep

I am also beginning to finish editing my 2nd book - Project: GreenLife, The first book to a 4-booked series.

If anyone out there has experienced this kind of weekend, please comment below and tell me how you handled it.

My Good Day Gone Wrong

I guess this is my second blog and boy, did I seriously realize how much I hate waking up at 6. Today was a B-day (Our school as A B block schedules), and it started off as a great day. :D

My first period was already great because it is a class of freshmen. Most were either sleeping or awake talking to me or each other. The only difference from today and any other normal day was we got a group assignment. Sports Writing for the news. XP.

Second period was my Economics class and it made my day the best day for the whole week! I had gotten to see my friend, Anna, and was pretty happy she didn't drop the class.

Third period was the period of much joy and much anger. Not only was it the best class, but it was also the worst. The good part was the fact I got to talk to my friends. The bad part however was...

This stupid, punk A$$ junior boy started some stuff with me. He has been on my To-Die list ever since he interrupted a conversation with my friends by telling me to kill my father. So, when he came over to my friend and she asked him to go away, I lost it with him.

At the end of my school day, I went home and began to blog again. Has anyone ever had a emotionally flipped day like this? Comment below if you have, or post a link to a blog in the past you might have posted about your day.

Thanks for reading my ranting blog!

First time for everything

This is about the closest I can describe how I feel about blogging. Not only is this my first time, but I hope this is not my last.

My name is Madison Hughey, 17 years old, and already I am an author with a book published. So, how come no one knows about me? That is simple: I never reached out to other writers like me.

I hope that anyone that reads this and follows me, as I will follow you, doesn't end up like me: slamming your head in your keyboard.

Anyone want to join me in their newbieness or want to simply help me to understand what I am doing, please send me a message. I swear I will listen, or read, any tip you have got. (Even ones sent to me dozens a times!).

Thanks guys :)

(This is the book I published, and no I didn't put this here for you to buy it, I just wanted to make a point)
